Dr. Thuong Nguyen is a seasoned leader in data and artificial intelligence with nearly 20 years of experience across banking, finance, and technology. He currently serves as Deputy Head of the Data & AI Division at VietinBank, where he spearheads key initiatives in data strategy, platform modernization, advanced analytics, and AI adoption. Dr. Nguyen holds a PhD in Machine Learning from Deakin University (Australia), where he spent nine years studying, researching, and working. Throughout his career, he has built and scaled high-performing data teams at leading enterprises, with a strong focus on turning data into actionable insights and measurable business impact.
